Wii Game is doing well

May 29th, 2008

I built a Wii game for my MM491 class this semester at Bradley. It can be played on the computer, however the real fun occurs once you have a friends playing with you on the same screen. Up to 4 people can play at once on the Wii browser. Avoid the white boxes that come from the right edge of the screen. The game will start off easy with boxes a paraplegic could avoid. Soon they become almost impossible to avoid. After all players bite the dust scores are tabulated and a winner is declared. Link after the break.

EDIT: Looks like I will be getting my 1,000 play today.

Starting my WarCrack addiction.

May 29th, 2008

So I’m a little late coming to the World of Warcraft, but I found out that most of my friends play it and most of them wanted to start a new character on another server. If you want to join our party lookfor IAMATROLL on the Firetree server or leave a comment with your screen name.

Best Sites for Multi-Media Majors

February 28th, 2008

All links that I will provide are to the best of my knowledge legal. If one does so happen to be illegal it is most likely the equivalent of finding the file with Google. There is no specific number I’m going for this list could be as few as 10 or 100. I’ll probably make a specific category for posts like this or better yet a fixed page that will always be accessible.

Best Sites

No need to scatter these among the tons of useful sites I come across these have been the most helpful to me in general.

  • www.Media-Convert.com - Allows you to convert almost any media file into another media file. Best of all it is free and requires no software. There is however a cap on the size of the file you can send/download from them. I wish they would make a pay service option for unlimited file size.
  • Google anything - Google seems dead obvious, but most people never tap into all the sweet features Google has. Sure everyone knows about mail, calendar and reader, but have you ever used Google Analytics? Check out everything they have to offer.
  • www.LifeHacker.com - Geek to live, don’t geek to live is this site’s motto. Everything from how to partition drives for dual booting to tips to make your non-computer life easier are all covered in this awesome site.
  • www.ICanHasCheezBurger.com - lolcats are awesome, nuff said.

GreinerBlog is back.

February 24th, 2008

I’m starting this back up again.  I’ve separated my blog from my portfolio site.  In doing so I have lost all my old posts, comments everything.  Now I have a shiny new domain, a fresh mySQL server, and nothing to write about.  Well 2 out of 3 isn’t too bad.  Expect quality posts soon.
